Details
Filter+ replaces Laura's single filter knob with a small section that thinks about colour first and cutoff second. The drive stage sits before the filter, not after, so the harmonics it generates get shaped by cutoff and resonance instead of riding on top.
Six drive characters ship in the Lost Synapse pack: Tanh, Soft, Hard, Aurora, Mirage, and Halo. Each one was tuned against real material (bass, leads, pads, pluck) rather than a sine sweep, so flipping between them on a held note gives you honestly different flavours instead of six knobs on the same algorithm.
Three modulators are now wired into the cutoff directly, so you don't have to spend a mod-matrix slot on them: Env to Cut (in octaves), Keytrack (percent), and Vel to Cut (octaves). The series highpass before the main filter lets you clean rumble out of a patch before the resonance starts ringing on the low frequencies, which is especially useful on sub-bass channels.
On the documentation side, the manual now has a dedicated chapter for the wavetable editor with the full UI broken down (brushes, formula box, operators, view modes), plus a Filter+ section with the new screenshots bundled.
