Highlights
- A/B and DICE fade cleanly. Comparing two patches, or rolling the dice, now fades the way loading a preset does instead of snapping between them, so you can audition on a held note without a pop.
- Smoother preset switches. Loading a patch no longer lets the new settings show through for an instant before the fade finishes.
- Legato keeps its feel. Play a tied line in legato and it holds the dynamics you started with instead of jumping level on each new note.
- Live moves glide instead of stepping. Changing the delay time or its tempo sync, sweeping the reverb pre-delay, and modulating oscillator level or pitch now move smoothly rather than in little steps.
- Cleaner effect switching. Turning an effect on or off no longer risks a burst of its old tail, and switching the filter off fades rather than cutting.
- Switching oscillator waves always takes. Flipping between classic waves or wavetables while notes are held could occasionally do nothing until you nudged it again. Fixed.
- Your patches, packs, and license carry over exactly as before.
Details
This one is all about the quiet edges. The last two updates smoothed out preset switching and voice handling; this finishes the job on the paths that were still jumping. A/B compare and the DICE randomiser now fade exactly the way loading a preset does, so you can hold a chord and flip between two versions without a click. Loading a patch is cleaner too: the new settings no longer flash through for a moment before the fade lands.
The rest is motion. A legato line now keeps the dynamics you played it with instead of jumping the level on every tied note. Changing the delay time or its tempo sync, sweeping the reverb pre-delay, and running an LFO or the sequencer into oscillator level or pitch all glide now instead of stepping in small increments. Turning an effect in or out of the chain no longer replays a stale tail, and switching the filter off fades instead of cutting. Finally, a fix a few of you flagged: switching between classic oscillator waves or wavetables while notes were sounding could sometimes appear to do nothing until you moved the control again. That is sorted. Nothing about your saved patches, packs, or license changes.
